About these sessions

Our youth sessions support young people to develop new skills, make new friends and learn about themselves, the world around them and the people they share it with, all whilst having a great time.

Our youth groups offer young people an opportunity to grow alongside experienced and qualified Outdorr practitioners, to learn bush-craft skills, build confidence, develop a sense of self and discover the outdoors, whilst at the same time exploring interpersonal themes of self-reliance, group dynamics, and creativity. The sessions will include bushcraft skills such as fire-craft, the use of tools such as knives and axes, foraging and woodland crafts. They offer a unique and informal way of meeting new people and making new friends, or the opportunity to hang out with friends in a fun and enriching space.

A delicious campfire cooked snack will be offered to all participants at our youth clubs.

All our youth clubs run after school between 3.45pm and 8pm, depending on the location.

We are also hoping to start our very own Stomping Grounds Youth Council, so watch this space…

“It’s different to other youth clubs I’ve been to. The leaders are chilled and treat you like adults. I’ve met some new friends, people I wouldn’t usually get a chance to hang out with.”

We offer a sliding scale on all our spaces at our youth clubs. Full price, half price and free. We understand the economic system is making life hard at the moment. So if you can afford it please contribute, if you can’t, we still want your young person to attend.

By signing up for the youth group, we request your commitment to attend each week where possible.
