Rosalind Knox
Occupational Therapist
I’m an occupational therapist with over 30 years experience, working mainly in the NHS. The importance of human rights has always motivated me and this has guided me in my career to work with more marginalised groups and individuals who don’t often have the privilege of having their voices heard.
I am a trained non directive play therapist and have special interests in trauma, sensory integration, sensory attachment and neurodiversity. I love the outdoors and my aim is to bring my work into the outdoors whenever I can as I believe the benefits of this are enormous for our neurological, emotional and physical well-being and general functioning . I have neurodivergent family members who have inspired me but also made me realise the huge challenges faced in being misunderstood with their needs and strengths often overlooked and often not recognised.
My professional and personal life have allowed me to constantly learn and unravel and celebrate diversity. I am thrilled to be part of a project which is in the forest and I cannot wait to be curious together.
