Meg’s roots and shoots span the realms of childcare, education, public engagement and the arts with particular interests in folk, dance, history and heritage. A heathen at heart, she’s long observed the rhythms and reasons in nature’s cycles and season, often gathering folk by firesides to share in songs and stories to celebrate these occasions.
Having felt the pull for sometime she naturally began to explore Forest Schooling more keenly, hand-in-hand with her own wee wild-ling. In early 2023 she joyfully branched out to pursue her Level 3 training with Scotswood Community Gardens, officially joining the Stomping Grounds team in the same year.
A proud solo-mamma with her own selection of chronic health quirks and sensory perks Meg truly values the sanctuary of acceptance that Forest School can offer and takes pride in the compassion and creativity she brings to her practice.
