Hi I’m Lyndsay and I have worked in childcare for 16 years.
I began my journey in a private day care nursery at the age of 17 and worked my way up to senior nursery nurse and acting manager when the manager took annual leave along with managing a team of 18 staff and completing my level 5 management qualification in childcare. From beginning my childcare career I have ventured off into schools and became a nanny for a family with two children.
This lead me to the outdoors. I was passionate about completing my Forest school level 3 and teaching the children the benefits of being out in nature and the ethos of Forest School.

Since then I began to run my own parent and toddler Forest School in a woodland close to home. I joined Stomping Grounds in June 2023 and quickly became a part of their team, leading holiday clubs, leading 1-1 sessions with young people and running a monthly family fun session throughout the year. I recently Joined the Kindergarten team and I’m absolutely loving it. Meet our whole Team
