Katharine had lots of positive experiences and connections to nature as a child. Most of her childhood was spent at the farm, caring for horses and exploring the natural environment and bird watching with her Dad. She has worked as a Primary Teacher for over 20 years and has always had a passion for outdoor learning. Moving back to the North East gave her the time and opportunity to finally complete her Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification.
