Helen’s role is to support Stomping Grounds to be financially sustainable, through both fundraising and commercial income. She spends most of her time in the Chopwell office so any trips to the woods are a real treat. Her favourite campfire food is crumpets.
Helen shares “I’m dyslexic, I don’t talk about it much as I have always needed to develop different ways to manage it. When I was younger I was stood in front of the class and everyone was told how stupid I was for not being able to copy words from one side of the page to another. In my mind they were the same. Now I feel that maybe she was the one who was lacking in understanding and hopefully that is a world that we can help to build.”
